Drymate Material
All Drymate and Armor All Mats feature patented Drymate® technology that is absorbent, yet waterproof.  Soft, stain-resistant fabric is coated on one side with a durable, special bonded backing that stops spills from soaking through from above or below.  All mats are highly absorbent and hold up to 5 times their weight in liquids.

USE AND CARE:

General Use and Care Instructions for Drymate Products
The Drymate material has a PVC backing that may react with some finishes, particularly when placed under heavy objects for extended periods of time. It is recommended that you check under the mat periodically to ensure mat and surface are compatible and there is not a reaction.

Cleaning: Machine wash, separately, in warm water on gentle cycle. Hang to dry. Large mats can be vacuumed. It is helpful to affix carpet tape to the four corners to prevent the vacuum from sucking up the fabric at the edges.

Excess Water: Garage Floor Mats and other large mats may become saturated with water. In cases of heavily saturated material, it is recommended that you squeegee excess water off the mat to speed up the drying process. Any floor surface may become slippery when moisture or mud, etc. is present. A wet/dry vac can be useful for keeping mats dry and clean. Polyester fabric dries quickly. Always wipe up any oil, anti-freeze, chemicals or other spilled fluids that may leak or drip from a vehicle. Leaving chemicals on product for extended time may cause damage to mat and floor.

For large mats, we recommend using a power washer or hose to clean. Squeegee mat to remove excess water. Allow mat to dry thoroughly before placing back in garage. Hang mat if possible to dry faster. Any laundry soap or dish soap will work on most stains or heavy soiling. Never use harsh chemicals or bleach on mat as waterproof PVC backing may be harmed.

GARAGE FLOOR MATS / GARAGE FLOOR RUNNERS / SMALL VEHICLE MATS

Installation Instructions: Thoroughly sweep and clean floor. Make sure floor is completely dry prior to installation. Smooth out wrinkles as you unroll and lay the mat flat. Once the product is laid flat, fold lines and wrinkles will eventually relax and disappear.

CAUTION: SECURE MAT WITH CARPET TAPE TO PREVENT MAT FROM STICKING TO TACKY TIRES AND WRAPPING AROUND TIRES. In extreme freezing and thawing conditions, it is possible for a vehicle’s tires to freeze to a wet mat. Other rare situations may cause mat to stick to tires. If such conditions occur, back up one foot and check mat to ensure it is not stuck to the tires to prevent mat from wrapping around the tire’s axle. Pull mat free before continuing to drive on the mat.

Excess Water: If mat becomes saturated from melting snow or rain, it is recommended that you squeegee excess water off the mat to speed up the drying process. Any floor surface may become slippery when moisture or mud, etc. is present. A wet/dry vac can be useful for keeping mat dry and clean.

WARNING:  If floor has been treated with certain sealers or paints (i.e., epoxy) prior to mat installation, chemicals in the sealer or paint may react to Armor All® Garage Flooring Mat’s PVC backing causing it to adhere to the garage floor, which may result in damage to the mat and/or floor.  Please check under the mat immediately after installation and periodically thereafter to ensure the mat and floor are compatible. See your sealer, epoxy or paint Manufacturer’s instructions for information on any possible reactions to PVC or other similar materials prior to installation.  If no reaction is indicated by the manufacturer, wait 72 hours after floor treatment before installing any Armor All® Garage Flooring and check under mat periodically as indicated above.

CARGO LINERS / TRUNK LINERS

Use fabric side up for most situations, especially for absorbency protection. It will trap spills to keep them from running onto your other cargo. Use waterproof side up when hauling messy cargo where absorbency is not a problem, i.e., hauling bricks, dry goods, cement bags, lawn and garden items, etc. You can then easily brush or shake off any material spilled while hauling.

Armor All Cargo & Trunk Liners are machine washable. For best results, machine wash separately and hang dry. DO NOT BLEACH, as this will damage the waterproof backing.

For use as a seat cover, simply drape over your seats for protection. For a custom fit, use sharp scissors to cut liner to fit. Material will not fray or unravel. To hold seat cover securely in place, cut slit just wide enough to go over headrest. Slits should be at least 5” from fabric edge to avoid tearing.
